Our Wedding

Despite attending the same middle/high school and riding the same school bus for years, we never directly spoke to each other until the summer of 2016. In which we simply started talking due to a simple "TBH... Rate" sparking a conversation. During our early days of talking little did Tereis know it was during Taliyah's 16th bday trip in which her friends hijacked her phone and unknowingly kicked off the most unexpected and meaningful connection of our life. We had our first official date on September 10th, 2016, to the movies followed by the beach where we would then make it official and started dating. From that moment, our relationship grew steadily as we would go on to college and basically major in the same subjects "Accounting" (Taliyah states Tereis followed as she graduated first) BUT Tereis claims this is nowhere near true. Following graduating we both have started our careers working in accounting field and relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina. Taliyah is currently a Senior Internal Auditor at one of the largest U.S. banks and Tereis is a Senior Consultant at the world's largest public accounting firm. In our free time, we love staying active through working out, experimenting with new foods and cooking, and exploring new hobbies. Our favorite shared passion, however, is traveling—both domestically and internationally. Our most recent international trips include Cabo, Jamaica, and Cancun, and we are excited to be adding the Dominican Republic to our list of shared adventures especially with all of our family.

Flight schedules and pricing typically become available 11–12 months before travel, so we suggest checking for flights around November–December 2025.
